At “The Art of Active Networking”, we don’t just shake hands, ask what you do for a living and trade business cards, we look into your eyes and say, “How can I help you do better right now?”

Tonight that continues in my beautiful former wife and business partner’s name Gretchen Sackett​. For 36 years we loved, lived and worked together in various ways, she was my foundation in all I have accomplished and she passed away suddenly last Thursday.

Since Gretchen lived and breathed the concepts of “The Art of Active Networking” it was important to me this not be postponed! So tonight, in Gretchen’s name and in the name of all of us who struggle,we will continue.

I will also be collecting donations for anyone wanting to give, for Gretchen’s favorite animal charity Love Every Animal! Gretchen so loved what this tiny and underfunded charity does, founded by a Woman named Lyza Chavez as they rescue our beautiful creatures day in and day out!

Gretchen was always about kindness and giving. She inspired me to start “The Art of Active Networking” 6 years ago. So, I hope you will join us Thursday night to connect with and help others to thrive, and to join me in a toast to a beautiful and caring Woman named Gretchen Elaine Lindenmayer Sackett.
