OH WAIT THAT WAS THE GRAMMY AWARDS LAST NIGHT, NOT THE NETWORKING AWARDS! OOPS!
Tonight are the networking awards at The Box SF! Ok ok, well not really because there really are no winners and losers when you show up for The Art of Active Networking. Tonight you’ll meet a room full of winners! How do I know this? Because anyone who shows up tonight is already way ahead in my book because they set aside their fears, they got their ass of their couch, they tore their overly emailed butts away from their computers and they show up to mingle with friends and strangers!
Oh sure, by 6:30pm you will already be exhausted after a torturous day in the coal mines, hitting send, faxing, tweeting, programming, meeting, discussing and instagramming. After a weekend of fun, brunches, soccer games and rainy walks on the beach it’s a hell of a lot to ask you to show up to help others and yet so many of you do, month after month after month!
You set aside your excuses to come and meet awesome people! So yes, you do deserve a damn award. So the award goes to…
You!!!!!! Tonight we’ll celebrate that. See you at 6:30 at the Box SF. Oh and we have a surprise performance tonight!
