IF YOUR LIKE ME, IT NEVER HAS BEEN, BUT THAT CAN CHANGE!
Most networking is honestly useless, largely because we really don’t know why we are there and we don’t get what we want out of the event when we get there. Are you feeling me?
People ask us what we do, then they half-ass listen, then they start selling what they do, while at the same time scanning the room for the next best useless conversation. Does that about sum it up?
Are you just as guilty of doing the same thing? I’m not pointing fingers here, but YES you are.
So what if all that was different? What if we cared about the chat, what if we did not try to sell, what if we got people excited about wanting to meet us next? And what if that first conversation was so awesome that you barely had time to “work the room”, because it was just that awesome?
Well at “The Art of Active Networking” events all over this country that’s exactly the environment I try to foster for you. I want you to make deeply passionate connections, build awesome friendships and frankly know that the next time you stumble, or the next time you are in a struggle that you have an entire roomful of people who’ve got your back!
That’s what we do. But it takes effort from both sides, a change of perspective on your part and you need to show up! So far over 11,000 people now have in 15 cities.
Maybe you’ll join us soon. We have these events coming up:
June 8th in San Jose
June 15th in San Francisco
June 16th in Los Angeles and our OC friends are invited until we find a better venue!
June 22nd in New York City
We repeat all those cities in July and we add Kansas City July 23rd and Vancouver BC July 27th.
