February 16, 2015

You know what they say, we find love in many forms. Hallmark would have us think it’s about Cherubs and Chocolate. Yoga studios want it to be about ’self love’. And single folks are often made to feel like some sort of losers who should drown their day in sappy movies and misery.

I don’t know where you are in all that, but for me it’s all about being content while loving who you are, who is in your life and how you life it as well as what you do with it. I chased, dated, loved and played the love game for years. And for a while bought into the “Cherubs and Chocolate” myth.  And then it dawned on me that I was actually happiest when I was just cool with who I was, loving my work, being with friends, family and my network, and with the awesome people surrounding me every day. I have the greatest network in the world, I have a full life, I have an interesting life full of love and I don’t feel incomplete without a relationship. I think that’s because week after week I spend a good deal of time building extraordinary relationships all over the world, deep, loving, connected relationships both in and out of the business world.
I'd like to invite you into my network to do the same.

After making a comment in social media this week about my parents and their deep love for each other. I also watched as the love poured in for me and my family as my Mom struggles right now. And again I realized how LOVED I am. I know how important every single connection I have on LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram and Twitter is as well as all my Social Media, and in every aspect of my life!

So while I hope some of you found a relationship, and that others found contentment, I hope all of you found LOVE for who you are, where you are and that you LOVE what you have and what you are blessed to do in your life! As the song goes, “If you can’t be with the one you love, love the one you’re with!” That starts with you!
And most importantly, even if I never meet you in person or you never attend one of my events, post up anything you are looking for in my LinkedIn Group, Facebook Group, join my Meetup Groups, follow our Instagram for networking tips as well as our Twitter account! I want to offer my support to you anyway I can and that's all free, its only there to help my members!
