EXCUSES, EXCUSES, EXCUSES!

WELL WE'RE ALL BUSY BUT WHEN DO YOU MAKE TIME FOR YOUR NEW RELATIONSHIPS?

Personally I am slammed with work right now and don't have time for these events. But I always make the time! You know one of the classic failures in business has always been that excuse of, "We are so busy, and we've been so overwhelmed with our business that we'll get out and meet people and show up later, but right now we simply don't have the time!" We make excuses, we delay what we think is not important and then when business slows down, that's when we make time to get out and start making more connections, to start bringing in new business and to begin to build more relationships. Frankly I have never understood that mentality! Those things should be an ongoing constant!

The same thing happens with Marketing and Advertising. People all of a sudden wonder why they have no business and then they realize it's because they never had the conversation! It's then that they make that decision to start some kind of marketing and advertising campaign and get in gear.

In networking it's all about building relationships. And if you don't put the effort in to getting to know and connect with people, perhaps that's why those calls and your outreach are called "COLD CALLS".
