WHAT IS THE ART OF ACTIVE NETWORKING ANYWAY?

WHAT IS THE ART OF ACTIVE NETWORKING? WELL...IT'S CERTAINLY NOT NETWORKING THE WAY YOU KNOW IT!

I'd like to make this simple! When you hear "NETWORKING EVENT", you turn off the sound right?  Hell I do!

So here is why ART is added into my title!

I believe in art, beauty, giving, helping and authentic moments. I detest hard sell, pushers, takers, well-rehearsed elevator pitches and fake people.

Now we're clear.

So here what my events are:

They are giving!
They are intimate!
They are genuine!
They are effective!
They are fun!
They are a unique club you are invited to!

Here's what my events are not:

They are not pushy!
They are not lonely!
They are not empty!
They are not fake!
They are not without purpose!
They are not a useless waste of an evening!

If you are shy I will help you, if you are pushy I will calm you, if you are a giver I will shout you out, if you are in need WE will help you, if you are looking for something WE will find it for you. And if you just want to have meaningful, powerful and amazing people surround you for a change WE will welcome you with open minds and hearts!

My groups and walls on LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter and Meetup are for you to meet, share and engage with each other for free.

Get out of your shell, set your story aside and show up! It's time for us all to make a bigger more profound noise on behalf of others.

In addition this Monday night in Vancouver we are all part of a beautiful project created by Foster Eastman! He'll share what it is about, a part of your ticket is our collective donation to help sponsor the project, and you will have an opportunity to taste some beautiful spirits by Odd Society of East Vancouver. IF YOU WANT TO DONATE EVENT THOUGH YOU ARE IN ONE OF OUR OTHER CITIES SIMPLY CLICK THE VANCOUVER TICKET LINK AND BUY A TICKET, I WILL IN TURN MAKE THE DONATION ON YOUR BEHALF!

I'm sure you'll agree that the continuing string of suicides of Canadian veterans is a tragedy. Multimedia artist Foster Eastman is creating a special mural art project called Lest We Forget Canada to commemorate each of the 162 Canadian soldiers who died in Afghanistan, with all proceeds going to support Veterans Transition Network (VTN), who offer treatment programs to our men and women returning home from their military service. VTN saves lives and they need our support!

I am grateful to be a very small part of this project, I am grateful for my growing circle of friends here in Vancouver. And, I can't wait to share you all with each other once again!

In addition, March 31st is our next SF event and April 8th is our Washington, DC debut! Tickets for both are on our site!

Tickets are always available for each event on our website until 6pm day of the event, or are available for 10 dollars more at the door until 7:30 pm. Please take a look at our Website; read the reviews; join our groups and social media pages on LinkedIn, Facebook and Twitter; and share this with others at TheArtofActiveNetworking.com
